As a System Administrator, you’ll play a key role in managing and maintaining Red Hat Linux servers, VMware virtual environments, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems, while also supporting automation and optimization efforts to increase efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain virtualized and client-server environments for enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT service issues related to servers and operating systems.
• Support AWS Cloud platform operations on a daily basis.
• Implement system optimization techniques to maximize efficiency.
• Conduct system impact assessments to prioritize recovery during failures.
• Develop and enforce software standards for OS, servers, and virtualized infrastructure.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and lessons learned sessions to improve reliability and service delivery.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to address business needs.
• Promote an automation mindset to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.

Key Technical Skills:

RHEL administration, VMware virtualization, AWS cloud, Azure cloud, Physical server hardware management, Enclosures, Basic networking, Basic storage, Automation mindset

Requirements

• B.E / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration (RHEL).
• Practical knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.
• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS preferred, Azure a plus).
• Understanding of physical hardware administration (servers, enclosures).
• Basic knowledge of storage and networking concepts.

Preferred Certifications:

• VCP (VMware Certified Professional)
• RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator)
